Sara acquired her high school diploma from Northeastern High School and continued her studies at York College of Pennsylvania, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Human Services.

 

Sara joined the Educational Building Blocks childcare team in 2013 as a classroom teacher, with over five years of previous experience teaching in an infant program. Sara continued for three additional years as a lead infant teacher before being promoted to Assistant Director in 2016 and then to Center Director in 2018.

 

Sara and her husband, Kent, are kept busy during the week with their children's baseball and basketball events. Her family's favorite weekend activities include going to church, riding four-wheelers, going to the races, and spending time with extended friends and family.

 

Sara's long-term ambition and dream were always to be the director of a childcare center. She particularly adores getting to know each family and building lifelong bonds with them. One of Sara's favorite aspects of her career is having the opportunity to see the children develop from the infant program all the way up through the school-age program and beyond!  

 

Sara has made it her primary mission to assist all children in reaching their greatest potential while providing the highest quality care possible!
